Wood
Our lumber is taken to special off-site curing facilities and cured in special ovens. Our curing process is exacting and monitored constantly. If any batches are cured improperly or exposed to unacceptable moisture and/or temperatures, we reject them immediately. This obsession with quality lumber is what enables us to back this pool table with a lifetime warranty.

Superior Craftsmanship:
To ensure flawless installation, our solid maple cabinets are assembled, pre-leveled, and squared at our factory. This pool table features the time-tested forged steel joinery. Pre-Assembled at Factory. NOT "Knock Down" We pay particular attention in matching grain patterns and alternating growth rings to create a beautiful canvas that will stand the test of time. Be it detailed hand-carving, sanding and finishing, they are all done by experienced hands. Some of the hand-carving artisans have over 30 years of experience in the field, working hard to create lively details, piece by piece.

Beams:
The uniform support system was engineered with strength and durability in mind, utilizing solid oak 2" x 4" center support beams and 2" x 4" thick solid oak crossbeams running hte width of the table. This solid oak grid framework ensures maximum stability and exacting support for the slate playing surface.

Slate:
Pure super-fine-grained slate is the cornerstone of a professional playing billiard table. Our slate is quarried form cliffs that have undergone millions of years of compression and heating during the natural geologic processes of the earth. we then carefully diamond-hone them to glass -like perfection that exceeds the specifications of the United States Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and back them with a Lifetime Warranty.

Legs:
Supporting the corner system of each table are large, beautifully hand carved, solid oak legs. The legs are made from several laminations of stacked hardwood to create one solid piece for maximum strength and stability.

Cushions:
Greenleaf brand cushions are made from Billiard Congress of America tournament-approved 100% natural gum rubber with no fillers or stabilizers added. They are molded to a K-66 profile with control-fabric backing. This backing ensures that the rubber permanently adheres to the wood and that the felt does not loosen or move, allowing for maximum speed on each shot.

Rails - Solid Kiln-Cured Maple. 6" Wide Profile:
The solid wood "wide profile" rails are built for durability as well as beauty. For an exact fit, aprons are attached at our factory. The floating nut plate secures the rail and apron to the slate bed with unyielding torque strength, allowing for exact alignment. Solid wood sub-rails are reverse grained and laminated to add weight and density in order to deliver optimal ball response. The cloth relief allows the rail to lay flush to the slate for a greater symmetry and strength. All of our pool tables feature premium wood feather-stripping.

Pockets:
Deluxe color-matched Genuine Leather Pockets wrapped around a die cast iron core for elegance and durability. The balls are held in a leather mesh pocket adorned with a "classic fringe" or "leather shield" surround. The leather is treated for stain and scuff resistance.

Finish:
After all the effort put into the curing and hand-carving of the wood, we wouldn't dare try to protect a Greenleaf Billiard table with an inferior finish. We only use premium, oil-based, brand-name finishes. They are formulated to be impervious to water, alcohol, marking and scratching.

Optional: 21oz. Worsted Cloth Available for $99 more. Our upgraded 21 oz. Worsted Cloth pays for itself. It's a finely-woven cloth and isn't "fuzzy" like the basic cloth. Unlike basic cloth, a Worsted Cloth doesn't "peel" and "Fluff" as it ages. Lasts 4 to 10 years average.
